To apply your facial mask, form a paste by mixing one tablespoon of facial mask powder with one teaspoon of warm water. Smooth a thin layer over your face (avoiding your eyes) and allow to dry for 10-15 minutes. Then rinse off with warm water, and gently pat your face dry. Follow with your favourite facial moisturiser or serum.

Using these recommended ratios will give you five mask applications from one sachet of facial mask powder. As an optional extra, you can also add a teaspoon of Manuka Honey for extra acne fighting properties.

Ingredients: Halloysite Clay, Zinc Oxide (non-nano) & Matcha Green Tea Powder

Halloysite Clay is a member of the kaolin group of clay minerals. It can help to cleanse, purify and detoxify the pores, It is also soothing and suitable for sensitive and easily irritable skin. We source our Halloysite Clay from Matauri Bay, right here in the Far North of New Zealand.

Zinc Oxide is a mineral that works as a skin astringent preventing oil formation on the surface of the skin. We only use non-nano grade Zinc in our formulations.

Matcha Green Tea is high in antioxidants and is intensely hydrating helping to reduce redness and soothe skin.

Pour contents of sachet into a bowl, cover with boiling water and allow to cool for a few moments. Drape a towel over your head, close your eyes and find a comfortable distance from the heat. Relax and allow the steam to carry the herbal properties and Essential Oils into your skin.

After ten to fifteen minutes, rinse with lukewarm water and pat your skin dry. Follow with our Green Tea or Pink Clay Facial Masks just after your facial steam treatment to draw out as many impurities as possible while your pores are wide open.

You can reserve the water from your facial steam and use as a toner. Strain off the petals (which can go into the compost) and keep the floral infused water in your refrigerator. You can also use our Facial Steam as a bath soak either added directly to your bath water, or diffused in a muslin bag

Essential Oil of Lavender is a fresh, floral scent with soothing therapeutic properties that can promote feelings of calm and relaxation. Essential Oil of Lavender is also believed to have anti-inflammatory, antidepressant, and antibacterial properties.
